About Matt
With over 10 years of experience in mental health, I have worked extensively to support adolescents, adults, and families to overcome complex mental health difficulties and improve their quality of life.
I have a particular passion for helping young people and adults who experience intense emotions, interpersonal problems, and difficulties with identity and self-worth. My approach focuses on helping people to understand their experiences, develop effective strategies, and ultimately gain more control over their lives.
I place a strong emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship whilst drawing on available research and my breadth of clinical experience to offer treatment that is tailored to each person and their needs. Successful therapy results from a collaborative partnership that involves informed consent and open communication, and I encourage people to take an active role in their treatment.
